Upgrade of Umhlanga Cabanas

UPGRADE OF UMHLANGA CABANAS UPDATE 

As previously communicated during the 2022 and 2023 Annual General Meetings, Umhlanga
Cabanas is scheduled for a major refurbishment. For your reference, further details on this
project can be found in the minutes.

Please note, however, that due to delays with Town Planning approvals, we are still not able
to provide you with the exact project dates. Safe to say we are hoping we can still commence
sometime in 2025 (and through into 2026). Please be assured that we are giving this matter
the utmost attention and will of course keep you updated as the approval process proceeds.  

For the time being, owners for weeks 1 through to 18 (ending 2 May 2025) may continue to
either occupy their unit themselves or may bank to iExchange.  

What Happens If I Own Timeshare During the anticipated refurbishment period

On confirmation of the project dates, all affected weeks will automatically be banked 
with iExchange. This banking will enable you to do an exchange either back into your home
resort at another time, or into another resort within the iExchange portfolio of resorts either
locally or internationally.
There is no need for you to contact us to get your week banked, as we will do this for you
automatically. Furthermore, you'll receive a confirmation of the banking from the iExchange 
team once your week has been banked.

All owners affected by this will also receive an exchange fee credit in their iExchange account,
equivalent to the Full Week exchange fee. This, along with the above week points, means that
you won't miss out on your annual timeshare holiday, or must pay any additional fees
for this interruption. 

In the meanwhile, as we await Town Planning approval, you are not able to confirm your own
use of your week beyond the above-mentioned date, however you may bank to iExchange.
